Another eventfull day at work

So after the flooded basement I thought things couldnt get worse and they just did.

When I just started working here I smelled gas whenever I went downstairs. Ingrid said its because the building was old.

Well now we just found out the whole gas pipe is ripped and gas is leaking in the small room basement. No wonder I got a headache each time I spend a while downstairs. And we are damn lucky we didnt kill ourselves with switching the lights on.

Now lets hope Essent will get their asses in gear and come fix this shit. I dont want to be blown to bits @___@

I think I found a store who can make me dresses

I always wanted to have those cool gothic-lolita type of clothes. But seeing I am size 'fat' I could never find stuff here. By joining up with EGL community here on LJ I found a manufacturer that might make my size. I sent them an email :x. I already lost a lot of weight but atm I am stuck at size 46 and I dont lose anymore :x. BAH!

See how amazingly cute that is :3. I preordered for Dasha and Ryan the last Dollheart line, Sorcerer and the other outfit with the eyepatch xD. So we can go completely gothic-loli to the next Elf Fantasy Fair. Last year I got a lot of comment saying my doll was pretty dressed up but I needed an outfit too @__@.

So hopefully they can make it for me with a black pettycoat and then I am half set for the fair, going to wear it at work too when no clients come around :3. Dont know how they will react to a gothic-loli secretary. And Ryan hmmm I wonder if he will like it. He likes it better if I wear skirts anyway then jeans lol.

This one is also on my wishlist for Christmas. Hope they can make!

Arte Nouveau

So I am trying to find a special art piece for my room. I love the work of Alphonse Mucha and the 4 seasons is one of my favorite but seeing my mother wants it for the livingroom I´m settling for a different piece. At the moment my eye is caught on this one.



I know she is smoking but she smokes gracefully! I wished I was as magestic like her.

Lately I´ve been having movie discussions with Ryan. He only likes Saw, last one nearly made me faint at the beginning. But I am still swooning over Inglorious Bastards. Never have I thought before that Brad Pitt is eye-candy to me until I feasted my eyes on his role here. Normally I even get annoyed with heavy accents but now omg! he swepped me of my feet. Too bad its just a part they play.
Its weird tho I keep having dreams about that SS-officer Hans Landa, dude is old enough to be my dad lol.

Decoration stuff

When this house is going under major construction I am throwing the style of my bedroom completely around.

I am going for Baroque.

At the Xenos they have these cute silver bellycabinets, but I dont know if I want to go for silver furniture. Its really hard to combinate with the rest of the room. Black will be to dark so I was more thinking about white or cream color. But if the wallpaper is white, white furniture is going to be out of the question. I can always buy the cabinet and paint it in the color most fitting after the walls is done.

I've been browsing through some dutch websites with Baroque fashion articles. And I particular like this site. www.manoir.nl/index.php. They have some amazing silver/fuchsia colored thrones I would love for my room. They go around € 200 a piece so 2 would be sufficiant.
My father wanted to buy them for me but I refused his offer. Its too expensive to accept it as a gift.

Problem with the throne will be my cat...she sheds hair like crazy but I cant lock her out of my bedroom/livingroom when the reconstruction is done. I'm might get a grand foulard to cover it up when I am not at home. She can lie on that when its covering the chairs. My black baroque pillow looks like a grey one when she lied on top of it T___T.

Finally I need to make photos of the picture frames I bought at Xenos and Action last week. They will fit perfect :). Just need to bugger Ryan for photos.

After one week

I made it through the first week of work. It was extremely fun but also very tiring.
I had to absorb so much information. And friday I was even alone for most part of the 4 hours I had to work lol.

Coming week I will be busy learning more of the trade, also possibly how to keep the books (that will keep me busy for a while) and even friday working a whole day instead of half a day because we have a group coming. I need to do the refreshments and lunch while the trainers are busy.

I enjoy my new job and hope to be able to spend a lot of time here.

Great welcome and a lot of information flying at my head. At the end of the day my head was spinning lol. But I like it there. Let's hope they like me back at the end of my trail period and I have a good future ahead of me.

Dad's birthday

We went to the Efteling and it was major fun that day. We went on almost all the rides, heading of to the Flying Dutchman first. The reason we went there first was because it has a lot of technical problems lol. And lo and behold when we were in the cart it broke down lol. 15 Minutes later and we went for it.

After the Efteling dad got his presents at the restaurant and I pigged out.

Spain was awsome except for the sunburn and Ryan being sick whole vacation because of the AC (and he infected me too -__-).

Zoo trip

Ryan and I went to Burger's Zoo yesterday and it resulted in 2 things. A sunburn and a freaking good day out. This particular zoo is one of my favorites because they try to create a natural habitat for the animals, so no small cages with nervous animals going up and down. But large pens looking like the place how they would have it in the wild.

I laughed when Ryan's glasses fogged up due to the heat inside the Bush, its an amazonian jungle recreated so its steaming hot inside there.

What was also a plus was the great weather. Its been raining off and on lately so we havent really spent much time outside yet.

Next planned trip: Volkel, Airforce days.

(Movie Review) Hangover

I am not a big fan of the movie genre American Comedy :P. American Pie didnt amuse me and I switched off There is something about Mary after 20 minutes.

But Ryan wanted to see Hangover, so as a good girlfriend I went with him to see the movie. My aunt gave me free tickets for babysitting her cat. Well I say its been wellspent.

After a wild night in Vegas 3 guys lose the groom and need to find him back just in time for the wedding. But the problem is they cant remember a thing. What happens next is a crazy search all over town for Dough and recollection what happened that night. Wont tell more cuz you need to see it :P.

I had a great night and the movie and characters were displayed so real it could happen to you.

Asako arrived!

Today after long wait my Peakswoods Lady Bee Elf arrived and I named her Asako (child that is born in the morning). She is a spirit who looks over Dasha.

Need to cut down the bangs because its hiding her eyes atm. But she is so petite and pretty, I love her ^^.

Dress making for Dasha

My mother and I finished our first project together. A nice summer dress for Dasha. Tomorrow I will pick it up after the minor details are taken care of and will post pics of it.

I am very proud of our project and Dasha looks very beautifull in it. Still wondering what to make for head and other accesories.

Project #2 is waiting to be finished also :) but that will happen next week.

It feels good to have my finances checked out. Still got a big reserve for my car when it gets the yearly check up in July.

Damn companies still bringing out the cool new dolls. I hate them! But now I am saving up to buy a girl or a boy for next year. Dasha needs a friend next to her small pals xD.

BuBu wont ship until end of June and Cheese will be about 40 working days. Maybe faster, I dont know. Glot will be not until August. Soom is packed with making dolls lol. My PW MSD still in hostage at customs...bugger....

I got BuBu! I woke up at 7am to find out he wouldnt be released until 4pm looool. So I was stalking the site trying to focus myself on different stuff but I couldnt xD.

15-05-2009 BuBu hunt

Tomorrow I will be lurking on CCC website to get my hands on the limited BuBu and thats the last doll I buy this frikkin' summer, I swear! I want a new camera!

Well another up and both down point. Herman Finkers cancelled his show but I get my money back for the 3 tickets. So I am free that saturday night <.<. Too bad I cant see the show anymore (maybe he dies this time cuz he has cancer) but now I get €80 back which made me decide to get BuBu.

Now to go watch The Eye with my mom, this is not original chinese version which I have seen before but the one with Jessica Alba. If I was lesbian I'd hit her xD.

Normally we celebrate this day as the queens birthday. Everyone dressed up in the national color and celebrating this fest together. No color or religion is discriminated on this special day. But today this day was tainted by blood.

A lot of rumors are going around about the suspect. I hope this will all be found out.

EFF 2009 doll photos

Elf Fantasy Fair 2009

It was yet again great. Me, my mom and Ingrid went on sunday. We saw a lot of people dressed up and a lot of medievel acts being preformed. Also met up with some doll owners and Ingrid took some pics of them which all turned out great.

Great experience and I was tired as hell lol. Didn't spend much money luckily only a dvd :)

The photos with Dasha turned out beautiful. I need to crop them and post them on the blog.

Bonding

Ryan and I have been doing a little bonding lately.

He tries to be more involved in my hobbies and I think its really sweet of him. I'm planning to get a boy for Dasha next year and kept showing dolls to Ryan but he didnt approve of them, all to girly lol. So he said wait till I am there this summer then we will pick one together and I said ok. This makes me really happy.

Other doll news: I am participating in a Grell Sutcliff minimee order and just preordered a mini PW Ladybee with elf ears. She is going to be perfect for my character I have in mind for the storyline with Dasha. Now I will have 2 mythical dolls when my Soom Glot arrives. Then I can start working on the storyline and costumes.

FFXI news: Corsair is 66 now (its getting boring atm ; ; even with Slugshot) and I've picked up fishing 34 atm with lot of kicking and screaming lol! I will get my Lu Shang rod even if it kills me and level up fishing more. Then finish off cooking its sitting at 87 now.

Its been a while again.

I dont know how I feel, some days I am so happy nothing can stop me but other days the tears are swelling up again in my eyes and I just want to sleep.

I guess this is what they call the ups and downs.

But I will work hard. For my sake ^^.

I dont know anymore....

After being absent for more then a week, I went back on wednesday to work. I wasnt allowed to go back to my own place but had to come up to the boss.

Lets say my convo with him was heated and emotional. I dont know what they want from me. My coworkers instead of asking how to deal with the problem they go behind my back and complain to the boss they cant work with me.

Do I feel betrayed? Yes. I had a right to get mad that monday 2 weeks ago. I've been shoved into a corner since last year. Had to compete getting work or else I had nothing to do besides sit there with 2 fingers up my nose. And that monday was the last straw. I said in a hard tone of voice, its always the same shit here and threw my drawer shut. Now every body is scared of me....lol.

I hate it there now, well I disliked it before but I really hate it now. Can I go somewhere else? No. This economic crisis is limiting my job options.
Start a new college degree? Of what money? I live on my own and most of my money goes to living and paying my damn bills. And I am too old to get a student loan anymore. Yep they limit it to 26 years ^^.

For now I am stuck in a place I dislike.

I emailed my boss about the feelings I have, and figure this. He hasnt replied yet lol.

Ah well such is life. I am happy to say my personal life has been much better. I dont loose my temper anymore and get along way better with my parents (esp. dad) then before. So whats the problem with work then, I dont get it.

Yesterday I came home from work and saw a delivery notice of TNT about Dasha. I hate it when they come during working hours now I need to wait another day for her *sob*. Customs is € 134,- *shakes fist* damn you!!!!

Took Ratjes with my to have dinner at mums, She seems less scared now.

FFXI: We claimed Faffers and I got N.Head for my warrior. Then we proceeded to do the last BCNM for Wings of the Godess. Wiped first round lol and 2nd round we won with some coaching of Picka. Was easy fight if you know how LOL! Then we trio'd 2x Lamia No.13 to get the final points I needed for my Pahluwan body (sp.) Will post SS later I am at work now LOL!

Bleh monday - Bummer day

Currently I am at work. And I have not much to do T____________T. How am I going to fill 6 hours to get atleast 90% productivity xD

I love my work (the activities I do) I just dislike some peeps at this place.

Let me sketch it out for you.

Miss. Witch works only 3 days a week. She is old fashioned and grumpy. Smokes a lot during boss' time. And likes to gossip about everyone. She drove all the other people away who were taking over her work for the other 2 days.

Miss. Emo also works 3 days weeks. She whines about her kids 24/7 while they have no manners at all and lose control whenever she brings them to the office. She is nice tho I just wished she would be less whiney. Miss. Emo doesnt like Miss. Holler.

Miss. Spy works one a different departmant but she is shacked up with us. She acts like she likes you but she talks behind your back. I dont trust her at all. She even wrote something nasty in my xmas card about my depression. She doesnt believe I have it. Everything she hears here she will pass to miss. Wannabe Director.

Miss. A & Mr. E, I love them. They are my best friends in this office.

Miss. Holler, sweet lady but her volume button dropped off when it was totally open lol. She doesnt like Miss. Emo.

Rest of the office I am happy I dont have to deal with much. I love my oldest boss and the 2 grumpy old men xD. They make me laugh.

My newest boss, Mr. Horney is weird beyond everything. He loves blonde haired women and he needs to mention breasts all the time. I think he is a creep. Luckily I am not his type xD.

Me, sometimes I say painfull remarks lol or growl at people when I feel bad. The people I love make it bearable. But I dont feel at home here.

Wednesday-evening dealings.

I logged on just in time for Einherjar and we won T1 with less then 30 seconds to spare LOL. Was a close call xD.

After that we went to DA to claim a Faffers. Bastard popped last window delaying my sleep till 1AM+ -____-. Very shitty drops: Z mitts and Hrotti. No Riddles for my babes T___T

Oh yea we did Temenos between it too, beat another floor so we are 2/3 on Ultima set.

And now I am back at work @___@ very bored cuz I have hardly anything to do *sob*

There was a note on the doormat that a package arrived for me which I need to pay customs for. Seeing the amount I need to pay (€ 38 lol) I hoped it was my Wake up Cue but it wasnt like it was her. Freckles arrived! Yay not a big Yay but still Yay lol. Now I can start working on my clothes for this girl. But damn you customs keeping Dasha there T___T and dont make me pay lots of €€€ cuz you are so meanies.

Carnaval, not celebrated!

This weekend was Carnaval and I didnt celebrate it this year. Wanted to save my money for other stuff. Instead my mum and I went to Huishoudbeurs on saturday (extremly crowded), sunday lounging around the house and monday wen to Amsterdam with the family. Got a new pair of shoes from my dad. Clean out bookshelves, been bugging me for a long while now. Got 2 storage boxes, just need to seperate the keepers and the sellers.

I tried getting a custom Blythe through Yahoo! Japan today. Its not that easy. I started bidding at 12000Y but it ended up till 17000Y which was too much for my current budget. So I won a 8500Y non-custom Blythe lol. Maybe I will customise her when I tried it out with redoing a barbie.

Yesterday it was pouring like mad and mum went to work with the bike, so I offered to pick her up. She was happy. Had a great meal and later my mom and I discussed about what patterns we want to use and I showed her some fabrics I ordered out of Japan. I am hoping to find some red fabrics for an outfit.
Then I went home at 9pm hoping to catch Ryan on yahoo. No FFXI, I was tired.

While watching One Piece epi my love came online. Its always so good to talk to him. I hope I cheered him up enough.

Today my coworker turns 40 so she got very special cakes. Mine was chocolate kirsch. Was so yum yum but I think I ate a piece thats atleast 3 euros worth. I know the baker who made these is an artist. Wonder how much his wedding cake would be xD.

Working 6 hours today, hopefully I can hold on. Monday was a very tough day so I went to bed early last night. Fell asleep at 10pm.

No eventfull monday

Came home from work and logged on FFXI waiting for my dinner to be ready. Ryan just came back from Fafnir camp. we sadly didnt claim. It was another hour before King Behemoth window started so we decided to do some Pankration to get points. My crawlie is level 11 now :). Behemoth popped first window and we got 2 hides for the LS bank. Then I helped with Savage Blade for a friend but bailed out when one of the guys was megarude. Then I helped Ryan skill up Great Sword for a bit and went to bed.

MEH so boring end of my day lol.

I need to work on my hobbies!!!

I want to open up my Etsy shop again soon, need some items to sell.

Friday: Went to visit gran in the afternoon after work. She looked good after operation but we needed to repeat a lot to her. She asked me if I was married and have kids yet. We had a hard time telling her she cant leave the bed yet and she needs to keep the IV in. My aunt sleeping there because she needs 24/7 watching over.

Did Dynamis-Valkrum, planned for the win but the cactuars foiled it :(. We got good AF drops tho heading towards the Goobbue NM.

Saturday: Only went out shopping for food, played ffxi whole day. Ryan powerleveled my blm to 37. No more gimp sub! LS event was Hydra ZNM. Fight was easy but the drops were meh for the pop person. Enkidu's cap dropped though. After that we did out first run with a new Nyzul Isle static. Reached and saved floor 15. Was a good run and people knew what they were doing. I have faith we will reach floor 100 in no time, hold on the soulflayers please they suck.

Sunday: Think! Pink opened up their real shop location in Nijmegen and I took Lillian and Jamie there to visit. Was a very nice opening and welcome. I really enjoyed talking to the doll people :). Fenicia gave me and Jamie a gift. I bought a can of MCS UV CUT and pink eyes. Jamie got a little pressie from me for coming with me. We had lunch at McD. When I got home and prepaired for Einherjar we ended up claiming Cerberus. ES+Elegy claim FTW. He hit me for 600 dmg lol. Dropped Algol and that went to Luna. Good money drops again. Einherjar was a success even tho we had Dahaks but we had luck with the boss, Hydra. Now we have access to Odin :D. Then we did Proto Omega and Ryan finally got the homam piece he wanted a long time. I went for the legs but Clod had more points then me. Next time I hope. We did 1 run of Lamia 13 after getting some Zeni's with photos and Ryan got his P.body. I am only 1800 points away. Pankration is fun, but Blaze keeps beating my level 5 mob with his level 50 monster.

Monday: Work! Got up with a headache and mum came at my door really early to give me my dinner. She needs to change shifts with my aunt. Need to work 6 hours today in process of my healing. Was supposed to work tomorrow 6 hours too but if my headache keeps up I will change it to wednesday. Oh yea and my chair is shit lol. Back problems back again :/.

Not so happy bunny

Grandma is in the hospital at the moment. She broke her hip a week ago and the physician of her home didnt make an effort to take her to the hospital and get xrays. My mother took her yesterday after she kept complaining of pains.

Now she is getting operated today.

I dont blame the nurses or the doctor. I blame the system. Our government keep cutting on healthcare. 1 nurse for 40 patients, thats nuts.

Please do something about this shortage. Everyone deserves a good treatment when they are sick.

Gran survived a japanese prison camp, I hope she will live her life out without discomfort or pain.

Well with Cue on the way to me, (Still need to name the girl lol) me and mom are working on outfits for her. I bought a couple of Dollheart outfits but they are expensive. And wearing selfmade clothes is unique ^^.

I still need to do some finishing touches on the dress but when its completely done I will post pictures. My mother enjoyed working on this piece and it looks good for what I saw of it :o.

My Cue is getting spoiled when she gets here xD.

Well its been more then a week since Ryan is here and I have been too busy with the holidays to post about it.

Its going awsome between us. I feel we've grown more together and we talked a lot about my past. I am better in control with my anger now so we can finally move on.

Got lots of great presents. A mimi zuzu delf, doll clothes, a french seat for my doll, candy, purse, coat, paintings, a pretty necklace and a music box.

Going to enjoy the last few days of my free time. Need to go back to work on monday *bleh*
